What do you think about online dating?
Well if you reflect back a couple years ago, the internet has really changed how people interact, I mean nowadays it is a common norm to meet people online and nothing is really wrong with it...but for me personally I've come to realize that if I were to ever hook up with a chick online and we were to get married or something...how awkward would that be in terms of telling people how I met my wife. "yeah I ahh met her on facebook, she poked me, and it was love at first click" WHACK!!! LOL people don't want to hear that weak ass shit....and you're probably thinking "who cares what people think if you're in love" right? Well to me online dating is like picking out a car through autotrader...you go to the site, you find car with a nice lookin exterior, so you click on the link which takes you to the cars crendtials, you read up on it, and then go to the location and test drive(No pun intended :P) it to see if it suits your needs....all i'm saying is i wouldn't want to pick my dates the way i pick my cars lol it's the same routine over and over again. Me and my girl met at Boston Pizza at the most random time, we didn't say much to each other at first but at the end of the night it was a wrap...if it wasn't for my shiny batman Shirt she probably wouldn't have given me the time of day lol I kid...but i do understand that for some people it's hard to get that confidence to approach a person you're feeling at the fear of maybe being turned down, whereas when you run your game online you can be anybody you want and fear is not easily detected, but you can't be afraid of rejection, everybody goes through it and yeah while it does suck, like every bad experience you eventually build a tolerance to it and for every bad experience eventually comes a good one.
DeLaSoul said it best, You can't be afraid of rejection, because rejection lasts only a few seconds.. Where as the 'What If's' and the 'I should have said this... or that'.... Well, that can last a life time...... Luckly for me, because of that Shiny Batman shirt, I'll never have to wonder 'What If' =)
